While preparing a prototype with a free template I downloaded, Storyline becomes very sluggish and nearly impossible to use. I have 16G RAM and a very fast i7 processor, with high end video card. What could be causing this? I closed every other application and tuned up the system....The downloaded template is beautiful, but has five complex layers on one slide!
It should only impact the download speed of assets from content library, not Storyline as a whole. Other things that could be impacting Storyline performance could be how many other programs are running, and where your .story files are being saved (you'll want to make sure they're saved locally).
We'll follow along in your case with Abel too - he'll help with some additional troubleshooting
