I have created an e-learning module in Storyline and I have published it to the review section. But when I get to this slide where I have inserted a video, when I roll my mouse over it, a little text box appears which says, "picture in picture". How do you permanently get rid of this?
What browser are you using to view the course? This setting may need to be adjusted by the individual user. Jurgen shared some further insight here that you may find useful.

The picture-in-picture button allows a learner to "pop out" a video and continue watching it while they scroll down in the course. To return to normal viewing mode, click the Picture-in-Picture button again or click the X on the floating video.
