Good morning. I can't figure out why adding the shape effect "glow" isn't working for my text boxes. I want to add a hover state to each of the index options (Work/Life/Zeta Balance, Visiting Your Chapters, etc.) but even when I try to add it to the actual text box it doesn't show up, and it's no different when I add it as a hover state. Help!
You might find that the glow is hard to see on a black background, so try playing with other background colors until you find one that works with your glow effect. I hope this is helpful!
I'm guessing that it is working, but the glow is pretty hard to see, even for people with good eyes, and even on contrasting backgrounds in good light. I usually choose an alternative that I know won't be missed even under marginal conditions.

Thanks for sharing your file with me. The "glow" effect is part of the text box outline. Here's how you can add a glow to the text box hover state:
