I'm doing a Storyline screen recording for our bespoke software, and find that the text captions (inserted in "View Mode Steps") are containing our software path and back-end information, rather than the actual steps.
I don't have this issue when recording in the same way for programs such as Outlook etc. I wondered if this is something that other people have experienced when recording in their own bespoke software, and if there is something we can activate or adjust in the Storyline settings to rectify this?
While I haven't come across recent issues with the text captions for screen recordings, let's see if we can get to the bottom of this. A couple of questions for you:
Is each text caption grabbing the back-end information? Or is it just specific slides?
Is this happening in other projects?
