Text Entry Text isn't wrapping

Apr 18, 2019

I created a drag and drop interaction in Storyline 3 with multiple text entries as the drag objects.  I clicked the wrap text box but when I preview, the text doesn't wrap anymore. What am I doing wrong? The slide is attached.  Please help!

Hi Pam, Miriam, and Jamie!

I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 76, we’ve included important fixes and new features!

One enhancement we’ve included:

Data-entry fields wrap text to multiple lines based on the “wrap text” option rather than the height of the field. You no longer need to make the height more than 60 pixels.

To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Please let me know if you need additional help!

Hey Pam,

Thanks for sharing the .story file so that we could take a look.

I was able to see the behavior that you shared in your original description and locate an issue reported to our team:

Text Entry fields with heights of 60px or less are not wrapping as expected.

I've attached this conversation to the report as we track user impact and so we can share any updates with you here.

I adjusted the height of your text boxes to 61px and it seems to be working as expected. Updated file attached.
