That worked, thanks for the insight Matthew! Any ideas on how this might relate to using that variable in an executed javascript? Basically, the idea would be to get the variable using
var player = GetPlayer(); var notes = player.GetVar("notes")
to print that entered text into another web page. When that happens, the variable does not carry the formatting of new lines.
