Text Fading

In the Storyline 2 marketing clip, in one portion of the clip, it shows text that says "More control over how your courses look..." The text Entrance and animation is from the left and "fades" in a manner that I can't seem to reproduce. It's probably something very simple I'm missing but does anyone know how this is accomplished in Storyline 2?

Unsure what marketing clip you're referring to, so not entirely sure what kind of text fade was in it. Though you can apply a "fade" animation to text boxes the same way you'd apply a fade animation to any other type of object: Click the "Animations" tab at the top, select the text box, and for the first animation select "Fade". You can also choose from the left side there. Hope that helps!
Thanks Jay! I really appreciate your input. Yes, that's exactly what I tried and it doesn't result in the effect I'm looking for. (And I've tried a lot of combinations but perhaps not the RIGHT combination). The Storyline 2 clip I'm referring to can be viewed with the following link. (If you'd be agreeable to take a peek...) https://www.articulate.com/products/storyline-whats-new.php. The effect I'm trying to achieve is seen around the 12 second mark with the text "More ways to bring your content to life." It's also show again later in the clip as well...
The text itself fades in from left to right -- NOT the text box...And it doesn't fade all the words at once... it fades one word at a time which is the key... It's really hard to explain but obvious when you see it. It's a nice effect and I've tried for a while to recreate it! Any input is greatly appreciate and if I'm being a big dope -- I apologize!
I don't believe that the marketing video on that page was created using Storyline... It was most likely created using a video editor.
It is a nice effect though!
Hi Lisa,
As Brian mentioned - that video wasn't created in Storyline, and so that content fade was done in another video editing software.
