I'm building a course in which my students type notes into a data entry field, I assign it a variable, then students see their notes next to what a correct response looks like on another layer (which I got from this thread).
It works great when the notes are one line long, but as soon as the notes go onto two lines, they become tiny on the layer where I pull them back up. I created a text box that is plenty big. The size of the font seems to get smaller in proportion to the number of lines I write, becoming illegible. Any help would be much appreciated.
THe text box should be the same size as two lines text box so if two lines text box is 80(H)x150(W) then the text box with the variable shoud be the same size . Just format the the variable text box to 'not Autosize' i think that should work
Variable references aren't updating the size and shape of the box dynamically so you'll want to look at setting it up so that the text box is as wide/high to accommodate the potential text. You may also want to review this article here.

Hi Sabrina,
