We have a course published for several different languages, and in some of them, the text from slide 15.4 is also showing up as text in random places in the quiz. For example, in Spanish it also shows on slide 16.2 and the Results Slide. For French, it shows on the Results Slide, and on Hungarian it shows on 16.4 and the Results Slide. We can't figure out why it is happening or what causes the randomness of where which slide it appears on.
Ah, are we talking about the notes? That is an issue we are aware of. I thought you were referring to the slide content.
I will add this thread for our QA Team, as it is an issue we are currently looking into.
The issue is that notes from previous slide can appear when a slide does not have notes.
WORKAROUNDS 1) Add a dot or a dash and apply a color that would make it invisible (ex. gray) 2) Remove the Notes option from the slide/scene where the notes pane is empty.
I wanted to provide an update here, as Storyline 2 Update 10 was just released, and included a number of fixes which you can see in the release notes available here. The item you all may be particularly interested in is how it fixed an issue where notes from a previous slide would appear in published output if the current slide didn't include notes. You can download the latest update here, and after downloading and installing the latest update you’ll want to republish any existing content to ensure that the updates and fixes are applied.

Hi Tyler!
I took a look at the Spanish file and I'm not seeing the behavior you are reporting. Are you uploading to your LMS? Do you see the issue in my file:

Hi Leslie,
Thank you for taking a look.
I still see it in your file. On 16.2 and the Results Slide.
This is being uploaded to the client's LMS, and yes, it is appearing in the LMS, as well as when we view it locally.

Yes, sorry if I wasn't clear about the notes. This has been a whirlwind of a project! Haha.
Thank you the workarounds, Leslie!
No worries! Hope it helps. That is a large project and looks to be in many languages, so I'm sure whirlwind is the perfect description.
Hi Leslie,
How do you remove the notes from a single slide or scene? I have been searching for a "how to" but can't find one.
Sorry about that! I should have included the tutorial. This would be found via the slide properties and you can check out the tutorial here.
Thanks so much, Leslie!
