I've been using text to speech and it's been working fine. All of a sudded I get an error saying I'm not connected to the internet. I am connected to the internet so I tried logging in and out of Articulate but to no avail. Then I shut down my computer and restarted and still not working. Do I need to install or repair anything? Any info is greatly appreciated as I'm trying to get a first draft out for approval.
I'm sorry to hear this error is appearing in our Text-To-Speech tool! We're aware of the issue and actively working on it.
While I don't currently have an ETA on a fix, you can subscribe on our status page to be notified when it's ready to go. Apologies again for the trouble this is causing!
Let me add to this and it might help. I only have this issue with one slide. If I copy my text and go to the next slide, click on Text to Speech and paste it in. Then it will put it in my next slide. I cut and paste it back to my original and I'm good.
Another interesting thing has just happened. I cut my text up and just put in one sentence at a time. Each time I added more and more until I had it all back in. Each time I did this it went through OK until the last sentence. I had to cut this up word for word. I finally got the hole thing to work.
