The mystery of the "mute trigger."

Okay...this is driving me crazy.

I've placed an "icon" on a layer and

have assigned "two" triggers to it.

One is a "sound" trigger.

The other is a "show x layer" trigger.

The problem is that when I assign the "show x layer" trigger...it "mutes"

the "sound" trigger. According to the "timeline" and the "triggers panel"...

everything is setup correctly.

The sound trigger plays fine until I add

the additional "layer" trigger to the icon.

I've done this several hundred times in the past

with no problems. And I've spent about 2 hours

on this little problem.

Any solutions you might have would be

much appreciated.

Hi Rand, check the properties for the layer that has the triggers and make sure that it is not set to hide other slide layers.

If you have two triggers on the same icon, try changing the order of the triggers.

It looks like this may have been a duplicate post - but if you're still having difficulty after checking into Nancy and Meryem's suggestions, let us know. We may want to take a look at your .story file if you're still having difficulty (and even that one slide would probably suffice).
