I am currently creating an avatar selector that should once you select your avatar take you to the next slide. When I click on next slide I get the error message above. The next slide is blank so I'm unsure why I'm getting this error.
That message appears when the next slide isn't being previewed. In other words, when you Preview, the program can only go to slides that are included in the Preview.
If you've got Storyline 360, you can select slides, and then preview just those selected ones.
That option isn't available in Storyline 3. There, you'd have to preview an entire scene, or preview the whole course if you want access to multiple scenes. Fortunately, if you use the SELECT drop-down when Previewing, you can jump to any slide being previewed. (Note: If you use it to go to a slide that wasn't in the original Preview list, it will switch to previewing just that slide.)
