I have a Storyline project where I had one scene, then duplicated it because I needed the same functionality, but with different backgrounds. Now in both the Storyview and the Normal View for this second scene, the thumbnails do not reflect what is on each slide. Any ideas on how to "refresh" this? I thought it may be a caching issue on my end, but I have shared the project with others and they see the issue too.
Hi Leanne! Thanks for popping back in with your resolution. I appreciate you sharing that with the community and there is no need to delete your question.

I figured it out- just not sure how to delete a question.
You just have to click on each slide and then click on the corresponding thumbnail and it will update.

Yeah ...that doesn't work. The "empty" thumbnail won't refresh whatever I do.
- duplicate the slide
- cut the contents and paste to a new slide
- hide/show all the contents of the slide
- save / reopen the project
Nothing affects the slide that has no thumbnail data....
Hi, Chris.
Let me ask you a few questions to narrow down the issue:
If a repair doesn't solve the blank thumbnail, can you share the .story file with us through a support case?
