While importing short videos in Storyline, they end up playing for 2-3 times longer than their actual duration for example, I imported 40 seconds long video but the display time shows 73 seconds. I am having similar problem with all the videos that I am working with. The display time automatically increases, I end up adjusting it manually which is impacting my work. Any idea how can I fix this problem?

Any new object you add to a slide will automatically adapt to the current timeline length. If you'd like to adjust the video timeline without having to drag it back, consider using the Timing option by right-clicking on the object in the timeline. Hope this helps!
