I'm working on some basic lectures for college faculty and I'm using SL2 (Importing PPT files). When I choose to transition the text boxes by paragraph to align them to cue points, the timeline extends considerably. In SL1, the aligned objects would automatically end where the audio file ended in the timeline. This is not happening for me in SL2 and I'm ending up with timelines that are 500 seconds long.
You may find that aligning objects to the playhead or to cue points unexpectedly lengthens the timeline.
This is a known issue. It'll be fixed in the next software update for Articulate Storyline. In the meantime, you'll need to manually adjust the end of the timeline if it extends unnecessarily.
