Is there any way to toggle the player on and off if the user wants to view the slide itself in fullscreen without the player around it? I know you can turn it off completely in the player setting, but then it will never show. Is there way to set up a button on the slide itself to toggle it on and off?
Make your own custom player... then you can toggle it on and off. Actually this intrigues me to get this done. As a lot of issues then can be solved...

The closest option you might find is the Hamburger icon in the modern player . . . unless there is some script of some sort out there
