Tracking without a quiz

Jul 08, 2015

I am about to embark on a journey of discovery, but if you have already been there, I'd like to pick your brains with things to do and things not to do, please.

I have a short course with no quiz. Different learners will view different slides and these vary in numbers. All learners will land on the final two slides (I'll call them Slide Y and Slide Z).

My thought is to create a Results slide between Y and Z which isn't seen by the learner (at beginning of the timeline jump to Z). But what should I be looking to do with Slide Y?

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, Parashuram. I'd searched but found nothing. Now I am enlightened!

Two supplementary questions, please:

  1. Is it essential to begin with a blank slide with a single button before converting? (I have a complicated slide with layers that I want to use as a trigger. I am not using the Player navigation buttons and intend to use my custom Next button.)
  2. I shall use Complete/Incomplete, but does the Passing Score (defaulted to 80%) have any effect?
