I have taken over a training specialist role and the former trainer has shared a zip file for a storyline she created that I would like to be able to edit. I am not sure how to get zip file (I exacted the files) that she shared into my account. Is there an easy way to do that? I tried to import, but that only allows you to chose one file (while the zip contained several). Thanks!
What files are in the zip folder? Do you see a set of files that look something like this:
If so, the former trainer gave you a copy of the published course (not the source Storyline file).
A Storyline file has the .story extension. However, I have seen instances where that somehow gets changed to .zip. When that happens, the contents of the zip look something like this:
If that's what you're seeing, just change the extension on the .zip file you got back to .story. That should let you open it with Storyline.
Note: If you aren't seeing file-name extensions, you may have to adjust your View settings:
