I am working on a Storyline file, and I was curious if there is a way to change the state of an icon or change the slide layer based on a text entry field being completed. I currently have the trigger set up so the icon changes state when the text entry loses focus, however that requires the learner to click somewhere before the icon shows. I am hoping to have the icon to show up after they finished typing.
My overall goal is for the icon to allow the user to move on to the next step to show up after they have finished typing in all the text entry fields.
Is this possible, or has anyone one done something similar but accomplished it in a different way?
Thanks for reaching out! The way text-entry questions are designed, the control must lose focus before it recognizes that the learner is done entering a response.
