Hi, I have 2 buttons. When I apply a trigger to one of them, the other gets the exact same one. Every time, I modify this trigger the other one gets identically updated too. This is so frustrating. Using latest Storyline 3. Please help. Thank you.
This indicates a corruption. either of the slide, or the objects, sometimes if one of the objects has been duplicated. Delete the objects, and rebuild them, and see if that helps.
@ Walt Hamilton - Thank you for your reply. Yes, I tried creating a new project, restarting Storyline and I even restarted the computer but it did not help.
Thanks for sharing what you are experiencing as well as the troubleshooting that you've done.
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
@ Walt Hamilton, @ Leslie McKerchie - I think I've figured it out. In fact, there was no problem. I was just being confused thinking that there would be a separated triggers pallet for each object. I didn't know the triggers pallet would just show all actions within a slide regardless of what object I clicked on. Thank you very much for your replies.
