Trigger the PLAYER menu from within the slide

I work on slide heavy eLearning content and find it time-consuming to create custom menus within the master slide, I am hoping to find a solution for triggering the PLAYER menu from within the slide (so I can use the blue button in the top right side) I'm aware that everyone has struggled to solve this, but what I am hoping to find is a possible Javascript fix or/and any ideas on how I can work around this problem,
