Trigger to jump to slide not working
Feb 05, 2015
Hi there,
I'm creating a prototype for a basic tutorial slideshow. Each slide has some text and images, and will automatically advance to the next slide when the timeline ends.
I have also added progress buttons to show which of the five slides the user is on and allow the user to click to go to a different slide. Those work fine.
I added "Forward" and "Back" buttons (arrows) with triggers to go to the next and previous slides (specific slides rather than the built in "next" and "previous" functionality). The "Forward" triggers work but the "Back" ones don't. What am I doing wrong?
Any advice much appreciated! And when it's fixed I'm happy to post it as a template if anyone wants to use it!

Your Back buttons all have the initial state of Disabled, which is okay for the very first slide but prevent the buttons to be clickable on all other slides. Change the initial buttons states to Normal.
You ARE a hero! Thank you!
Oh, I have no idea how I did that! Thank you so much!
I'm guessing here, but you may have set the button states on the first slide and then copied them to the other slides (inc. the disabled Back button from slide 1).
That is exactly it!
Glad that Michael was able to assist you here Rebecca :)
