I have a trigger on a What? transparent box to show a layer when a user hovers the mouse then jump to a slide when the user clicks it. When I preview it, I can hover my mouse and see the layer but I cannot click it to go to the new slide. The layer also seems to be repeating over and over again.
I have the same trigger settings on 3 other objects and it is working just fine.

Check the layer properties and make sure that Prevent the user from clicking on the baselyaer is not selected.
"Prevent the user from clicking on the base layer" is not selected for this layer. It has the same properties of all the other layers:
"Hide other slide layers" is selected
Allow seeking: automatically decide
When revisiting: automatically decide
