Trigger when user click video controls
Nov 12, 2018
Hi,
I have a video in my course with the video controls below (standard play/pause button and seek bar). On top of the video I have placed a huge play button. I want this button to disappear when the user starts the video by: clicking the play button, the video it self or the video controls. Everything except the video controls works.
I have a trigger on the play button to hide the play button when clicked and I have a trigger on the video to hide the play button when the video is clicked.
But if the user starts the video by clicking the video controls, the button will not hide.
Any idea how to solve this?
I can of course place a transparent object on top of everything, but I would like to solve this a bit more "elegant".
By the way: My play button is on a separate layer.

I think the only way to control is to hide and show but not by a trigger.
How about adding a PLAY > button and an image of the video first screen and hide the video controls by default. Hide the PLAY > button when clicked.
Thanks, I'll try that.
But, I think it is still a little strange that the video controls is not seen as part of the video object.
