Triggers don't work at the end of long timelines

Hi all,
I'm building a course with several embedded videos (15-40 minutes). On each of these video slides, I've stretched the timeline to last as long as they run and tried in the following ways to hide a "next" button until after the video ends:
1. Making buttons hidden and setting a change state trigger to make them normal when the end of the slide timeline is reached.
2. Making buttons hidden and setting a change state trigger to make them normal when the timeline reaches X amount of seconds in.
3. Adjusting the starting point of the button so it only shows up toward the end of the slide.
Whatever I try, the button only shows up about 10% of the time. is there something I'm missing or a fix for this coming soon?

Set them to change to Normal when the media ends.
Tried that, but because the videos are embedded and not actually in the course, Storyline won't recognize it as an option.
Hi Anna,
Thanks for clarifying the information about your videos. You're correct, website videos play independently of the slide and aren’t controlled by the timeline.
The triggers you've described, since you've adjusted the timeline of the slide to match the video, should work. With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
