Triggers duplicating automatically in shapes

I am experiencing a major glitch that's been driving me a little crazy. I have a slide with tabs (slide 4.1) where I need to lightbox 3 slides (4.2, 4.3 and 4.4) when the user clicks on the tabs.  when I put the lightbox trigger on one of the tabs, it automatically copies to all 3.  When I try to change the second one to lightbox the correct slide, it changes all three again.  It's like there's some automatic default that I'm not catching.   I created each shape individually and have tried recreating this slide from scratch several times.  So, essentially, I can only lightbox 1 slide to all 3 tabs.  The other issue that I am having is that when I am able to click on the lighbox, when I "x" out of it it defaults back to a slide from earlier in the story (layer 2 of slide 1.8).  There are no triggers or connections between these slides, so it doesn't make any sense.  Please help!  Thanks in advance.
