Hello, is anyone else having an issue with triggers collapsing and being displayed on top of one another. Only noticed it after installing the updates this morning. Generally happens after I add or adjust a trigger. The view will reset when clicking off a slide and clicking back onto it. Screenshot attached.
Yes, I get this from time to time, along with my Scenes panel jumping around when I click on slides there. I have not updated in the past few days, so I'm still on version 3.26.18601.0. I mentioned these issues to support but they could not find a resolution. If I close Storyline and re-launch it the issues usually disappear for a while.
So sorry you're running into that trigger panel mess. I know it's an annoying bug to deal with! We've had trouble recreating the issue, but we haven't given up yet.
Would you mind sharing a sample slide I can send to our product team for testing? The more examples we can get, the more likely we are to finally nail down this problem.
You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. We'll delete it when we're done troubleshooting.
Here's what it looks like for me. This is a problem because it interferes with clicking and adjusting existing triggers. This just started for me a few days ago.
Is anyone else seeing this and using multiple monitors? I discovered today that another weird issue I'm having in 360 only happens when 360 is on my external screen and not on my laptop screen.
While in "Scenes" view, I can right-click to rename a Scene or Slide, but I can't paste in a new name by right-clicking or by using keyboard shortcuts, I have to manually type in a new name. This works fine if 360 is on my laptop screen though.
The other issue comes and goes, while in slide view, sometimes my slides jump around when I click on them in the scenes panel. This is not repeatable so haven't tested on laptop screen yet. It usually goes away for a while if I close 360 and re-open. Same with the trigger text overlapping issue.
Thanks, Michele for the image. That matches what we've heard from a few other customers, but we'll need to take a look at your .story file to attempt replicating it. That's the only way our team has been able to see it in the past.
Michael, I don't use two monitors with Storyline, but I know a few colleagues do, so I'll reach out and see if they have any insight. Also, feel free to send any screenshots or recordings to our Support Team so that we can start digging in.
I wanted to pop back in here and let you know that the issue where text overlapped in the triggers panel, making it difficult to read, has been fixed in today's update to Storyline 360, build 3.30.19518.0.
To install the latest update launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline. Details here.

I use two external monitors and my laptop screen. I view 360 in an external monitor. What is the other weird issue?

Support has recommended upgrading my video driver. I'll report back if that resolves the issue. Thanks!
Ashley, Following up on this one.... our IT guy updated all of our artist's video card drivers yesterday and I have not heard of any more issues.
Bob, that's great to hear. Hopefully this will resolve the multiple issues I've been having. Thanks!
Nice, Bob! Thanks for that update.
Yep, updating my video driver seems to have fixed the problem. I'm kind of surprised that MicroSoft didn't push this update.
Thanks, Michele! Our team is looking into the video driver issue to see if we can narrow down the fix further.
