Triggers issue

Hi Folks,
First main issue is in preview mode where I am unable to click next through each slides to preview how a user would navigate through.
Second is I can not edit triggers (these are commands and actions that you code in to specify what happens as the user navigates on each page
Every time I click to edit the triggers the edit pane comes up on the screen and then it freezes, I have to press ESC to unfreeze.
Perhaps this issue is linked with the preview mode, if triggers are not functioning properly.

The temporary, and it really is temporary, fix I am using is to disable the use of the new triggers workflow. The major problem I have is that from end of January the old trigger feature will be completely removed and replaced with the new one – so this could potentially render that feature unusable – which is a key part of storyline to create interactive modules. If this happens I effectively will not be able to deliver the required work.
