I'm trying to trim a .MOV video in Storyline 2 using the start and end markers. All seems to be going well until I try and save the file where I get the 'This video cannot be encoded' error message.
I've looked through a couple of other posts where people have had this issue but there isn't any mention on the .MOV files. These were filmed on an iPad and are media player files. Is it not possible to edit these?
.MOV files will be re-encoded to MP4s upon publish, so you may want to look at converting it to an MP4 before inserting into Storyline if it's causing difficulty. A tool such as Handbrake is a good free tool to allow you to easily convert video files.
Thank you for getting back to me. I have converted the file to an MP4 and am still seeing the same message. In fact, I have converted it to about 6 different file types now and am seeing the same message with every one.

Would you be able to share this file with me, as an MOV or MP4? I'd like to take a look at and see if I'm able to replicate the error messages.
