I'm working my way through the tutorials. I'm on "3D tab interactions"... It clearly asks that I insert a new layer, but when I do that, the whole slide turns black. On the video, when he clicks new layer, things show through. What am I doing wrong?
in the bottom right hand corner of the layers you will see an eye icon (this is the visibility toggle to turn on/turn off layers when editing). Trying clicking that and see if it makes a difference

Does the layout you've selected for the layer have a black background?
