Is there any way to speed up the creation of try mode simulations. I am creating simulations (about 30 minutes to 1 hour recording) to explain how to use an application and currently Articulate takes about 3 hours to create and insert the try mode slides.
Is there anyways to remove audio when recording to speed the creation of the slides up?
A step by step recording will remove the audio automatically upon insert. I'd suggest a couple of other best practices to ensure Storyline is able to work at it's best when dealing with a long recording:
Check that the file is saved, and being edited locally. Working from a network or shared drive is known to cause issues, latency, and could ultimately lead to corruption
Close down other non-essential applications once you're ready to insert the recording
Look at recording and inserting smaller segments at a time, that will also help when you need to edit individual sections of a screen recording.
Let us know if you're still running into trouble, and we're happy to take a look at your file too. We can attempt to recreate the behavior using a Video on a single slide in a .story file and then inserting it again as a Try mode.
