Try Mode Text Entry

Hi All!
I have recorded a screen using "Try Mode". The second action is to enter the text, "Richter". When it gets to that point, Storyline doesn't have the user enter the text on the screenshot in the field I've indicated; rather, it opens up a blank screen (like a text editor) and expects the user to enter the text onto that blank screen and then it brings the user back to the screenshot.

The first action is to click on the "last name" field.
I'm guessing this is a setting of some sort that I have incorrect.

Hi Keith,
Sounds like you are using data entry. The only other way I can think of right now that would allow for user text entry is as a text entry freeform question.

In the past, with our trial software, we were able to go through the same steps and the user would enter the text in the field on the screenshot. It wouldn't bring up a separate blank screen for every text entry (which is very weird), so I'm guessing it's just a setting of some sort.
Anyone have any thoughts?
p.s. I guess it could be a bug and I could try re-installing the software
It appears to work fine when I record locally. It only has this problem when I record a screen over VPN. (I think early Captivate had the same type of problems.) I know Storyline is new, but does anyone know anything about this?
