Two Issues: Update Failed and interactions-ID not being sent

I have been unable to update Storyline 360 for several months now. Have been ignoring because things have worked, but now having an issue so wondering if that may solve. I get an error message Update Failed by the Storyline 360 line.

Main issue is LMS not getting interaction-ID sent from Storyline. Our LMS vendor confirmed this. I copied and republished a file that captured and sent the data last year but it does not on the current file. I found a comment here but it's 7 years old about a Results Slide. I do not have a Results Slide, using a Course Trigger button to complete the course. That is working. I'm just not getting the cmi-interactions id or any data to the LMS.

Also, in regards to updating Storyline, do your network settings that prohibit updates? If so, your IT team needs to adjust the network endpoints.
