I love the text styles function but I can't get the hyperlink style to apply to text.
The different states show if I select 'modify' but I don't see an 'apply style' option when I click the options arrow, as I do with all of the other styles.
The Hyperlink style automatically gets applied when you add a hyperlink trigger to text. Hyperlinked text displays the style from which it inherits its font face and size attributes. You can read more about modifying hyperlink styles here!
Please let me know if you have additional questions!
I'm so sorry, I hope this isn't a stupid question, but where is this hyperlink trigger you mentioned? The closest thing I see to a hyperlink trigger is Open URL/file, but that gets applied to an entire text box (as opposed to just a highlighted word in a text box), and it does not apply the hyperlink style automatically, as you described. Am I missing something?
I have searched the forum and articles, and although I see information about how to update the hyperlink style, any mention of the hyperlink trigger merely states that the style is applied when you create the trigger. I can find nothing about this mysterious hyperlink trigger.
You can apply the Open URL/file trigger (also called the hyperlink trigger) to specific words by selecting them, right-clicking, and choosing hyperlink. I recorded a short (1 minute) Peek 360 video showing you the steps.
Hi Maria! That worked! I had no idea that was the way to create a hyperlink trigger on specific text. Unfortunately, the link that results is not keyboard accessible, so I'll create a bug report for it as an accessibility issue.

Thanks Lauren,
Doh... so obvious! I'd gotten used to simulating hyperlink behaviour using seperate text and applying states, that I was following a similar process.
