Thanks for reaching out, and good call to open a support case! I see my teammate, Jopney, has replied back and requested some files for testing. Be sure to respond, and I'll follow along as well to share any insight here!
Thanks for letting us know that you're running into a similar issue.
We are looking into a specific issue with the seekbar specific to courses with a seekbar enabled, but the first slide has a custom feature that does not include the seekbar.
Does this scenario fit what you are seeing as well?
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
Thanks for circling back. I'm sorry I don't have an update to share on the issue Leslie shared as of yet, but we'll keep this discussion posted on any new developments!
For now, the workarounds are to either enable the seekbar on all slides in the course or use the player defaults.
The more examples, the better to help us identify the cause. We can appreciate confidentiality and are happy to sign an NDA if that works for you and your team. Just let Jopney know—the Support Engineer assigned to your case!
We just released Update 38 (Build 3.38.21779.0) for Storyline 360 today!
In this update, we've included a fix for a recent bug where the seekbar and other player controls wouldn't work when the first slide uses custom features that does not include seekbar.

Content of some slides goes blank and appears white.

I, and my co-workers are having the same issue.
It works fine in Chrome, but in IE the seekbar is acting like it is read only, even though that option is not turned on.
Any info on this?
Hi Casey,
I raised a support case, but they need the source file for testing. I can't send the source file, due to some security reasons.
So, I just started working on the Older version of Storyline.

I can confirm this only occurs when the first slide has the seekbar turned off.
Also, appears to only happen in IE - I have version 11.973.17763.0.
Chrome and Edge both work fine.
I attached a file that has the issue.
Thanks for confirming, Casey.
Your file will also be helpful as we continue digging into this. I've attached this conversation so that we can share any updates with you here.
The workaround at this time is to enable the seekbar for all slides in the course.
