I am unable to publish Storyline. Although I can preview each scene with no problem, I run into problems trying to preview the story in total. I get an "i" error, and never in the same place. I have never gotten beyond 40 slides before the publishing effort stops.
Is this a Story-specific problem? In other words, if you create a new test Story with a few sample slides and some text, can you publish this story?
If you're OK with a new Story and this seems to be Story-specific, I would recommend submitting a Support Case and including a copy of your .story file. Once we have a copy of you file, we can do some testing on our end and see what we find. Thanks!
I submitted the case last Thursday and received a case number Case Number: 00299957 Reference ID: ref:_00D30Txo._50040N478N:ref Case Details: The file crashes, stalls, or stops at random slides. I have gone back to find out if I have made errors on the slides, but after correcting a few, I am unable to publish or even review the scenes/story.
I tried to publish another test story, and it worked fine. Help! This was to be made available last Friday.
I see that Jonathan Reque has taken ownership of your Case and is currently testing your file. I will keep an eye on it as well, and will ask Jonathan to provide an update as soon as he can. Thanks!
