Everything opens fine when I open a .story file, however when I try to open Articulate Storyline by opening the actual storyline-2 app, it will always take me to the uninstall screen and I cannot get past that. This is a big issue for me because I am stumped on how to use templates while getting around this. Every time I open a .storytemplate file (as shown in the video), it will also just take me to the uninstall prompt. I am using Windows 10 Home on Parallels (because I have a mac). Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.
Thanks for sharing that video here. Are you able to find the file to run Storyline on your system and does that one launch correctly? I know it is showing that as a template file, but I"m wondering if something happened with the file -> program mapping that is causing it to act as if you're needing to uninstall Storyline. You could look at going through the repair here and that may reset everything - and if you're still having difficulty I'd want you to work with our support engineers.
