I first noticed this problem when it seemed like items in a slide other than the one(s) I was working on seemed to be moving. to prevent this, I locked all items other than the one I wanted to work on. And - when I unlocked the one, it wouldn't allow me to move it! Only when I unlocked ALL (opening me up to others moving in a way I didn't want) was I able to move the ONE I wanted to unlock. I have attached a video taken with Replay with this email.
You'll want to unlock all of the objects in the group by clicking the dropdown arrow to the left of the group. Once you've unlocked each grouped object, you can then move the group on the timeline.

This short video demonstrates those steps!
