Unsent SCORM values

Mar 01, 2018

Hi!

I am having a problem with my new course and it's interaction with our LMS. My development team has said the course can be completed and the post work is successful but the SCORM values cmi.score.raw, cmi.score.max and cmi.location are never sent. This means my learners appear with a progress of 0.

We are publishing in SCORM 2004 3rd edition and are using Storyline 3

Can anyone suggest any solutions?

Thanks!

@AshleyTerwilliger,

I have turned Storyline's DEBUG mode on to troubleshoot Storyline 360 content/lesson SCO not sending cmi.location information.  I see it in code at functions called SCORM2004_GetBookmark and SCORM2004_SetBookmark.  But when I look at the debug information, I never see the debug text print out "In SCORM2004_GetBookmark".  I also never see in the debug print where it gets the studentName (ie accessing the function called SCORM2004_GetStudentName).  This is problematic due to the pre-requirements of passing ADL CTS testing for SCORM 2004 SCOs and the sco being implemented within the Army LMS (Saba engine).  I have looked throughout these blog entries, but didn't see anywhere that someone solved this issue.

Do you have a resource?

Ashley,

Thank you for the quick reply. I did go ahead and open a ticket (# 01560790). Any guidance that you or the team can provide would go a long way around here (so I can train my instructional developers and programmers - decreasing my end game headache).

We are currently using Trivantis lectora to do 95% of our development, but want to branch into other IDEs for content development.
