Update for AICC completionsnot captured in Google Chrome or Safari

Jan 31, 2014

I saw a note in the latest update that it fixes "AICC scores not captured to an LMS on Google Chrome or Safari". Is there more detail for this? We believe we may be experiencing this issue among our users. How could we know for sure?

Hi there Jami,

Looks like there were two issues with AICC content that were fixed with Update 5, that related to HTML5 output.

The first seems to be specific to content created in versions 2 and 3. This issue was specific the completion status not passing to the LMS.

Here's more information on the issue:

You may find that AICC content is marked Incomplete in your learning management system (LMS) when the HTML5 output is viewed in mobile Safari on an iPad or iPhone. This issue was fixed in Update 5 for Articulate Storyline. See this article for more information:

The other issue is similar, but specific to a problem where the courses would always report as "Incomplete":
You may find that AICC content is marked Incomplete in your LMS when it's viewed in Google Chrome or Safari. This issue was fixed in Update 5 for Articulate Storyline. See this article for more information:
Have you already installed the update?
If you're having trouble after updating, can you tell us a little more about what's happening?
Thanks!
