If I update a storyline file and then re-publish with the same filename as the old version my browser remembers the old version of the story i.e. it has cached certain pages.
Similarly when testing a recent story built from a free template I noticed that if I started playing the story and then closed the browser - when I re-open the story and reload the story I am not able to start from the beginning - the browser returns to that point in the story where I had previously stopped.
Is there anyway to stop this from happening other than clearing the cache in the browser manually each time?
I would second ctrl+f5 if this doesn't work you may be cached by the server which will can take 24 hrs to sort out, often better to undated but change the filename.

These are two separate "issues".
For the first one, pressing Ctrl+F5 (unconditional refresh) should load the latest version of your published output.
For the second, when in SL go to Player-->Other-->On Restart : Never Resume.
Hope this helps,
Alex

Nice! I'd never heard of ctrl+F5 before. Thanks for the tip, Alexandros and Phil!
Thank you very much for the help and advice guys. Am really grateful.
Best wishes,
Gunter
