I am unable to open any Storyline files to update them. I also tried to Import them and got the same error message that Storyline can't open the file. I have 23 courses I need to update this month and would appreciate some guidance on how I can open them.
Hi, Ralph -- So sorry to hear of the issues are experiencing! Could you please share a screenshot of the error message you are receiving so we can narrow down the source of the problem?
You may also want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline.
Thanks for the reply Christie. I was finally able to access most of the files I needed. I still have one unaccounted for but I am OK now.
I do have thre other questions though.
1. Currently when I open Storyline (I am using version 1) and click the File tab, in the Recent Projects pane only 9 projects are displayed. How do I increase the number of projects displayed in the pane? If I can have it display 20 I would like that better.
2. I also have Replay which I have used sparingly but would like to use a lot more but I have an issue I need some help with. If I am developing a live demonstration class for how to use a software application, periodically I have Windows system management notifications appearing on the screen and I want to eliminate them from the course content. I can ask our IT folks to turn the notifications off when I am developing a course but that is making work for them I would like to avoid. How do I delete one or two frames from a segment? If I can do that it will be easier for me to develop and edit a course and save our IT folks from work they really shouldn't need to do.
3. I understand Articulate has a Live Chat tool available. How do I get to it?
