You may be seeing that if you're not connected to the internet to download the latest update. you can find the latest update of Storyline 2 here (update 6) and you'll then download and install that version which will uninstall the older version too.
Also, each time you install a free update, you'll be prompted to reactivate your software. This is normal behavior. The good news is that the software remembers your serial number, so you just have to click Activate to complete the process.
I just had a thought that the issue may be that I have a proxy server setup. I'm thinking that may not be letting the update come through as it tends to causes other issues in relation to the internet. Thanks for the info!
