I just upgraded my Storyline to the new one. I have a small problem: the first time I opened an articulate project, it asked me to upgrade it to SL2. The initial SL1 project had 100 Mb and the new one has only 18 Mb. I am not sure if any information inside the project is lost, as I cannot open the old one without upgrading it. The difference betwen the size of the projects it is big.
You can open the project in SL 1 by first opening SL1 then finding and opening the project. If you no longer have SL1 installed you can use the link below to reinstall. You can have both versions on a single computer.
As Charles stated, you can have both Storyline 1 and 2 on the same computer. When you open a file in SL2 and it asks to upgrade, it will create a back up file for your original file in SL1. This is the file you can open in SL1
You can right click and use the Open With option on the back up file.

As Charles stated, you can have both Storyline 1 and 2 on the same computer. When you open a file in SL2 and it asks to upgrade, it will create a back up file for your original file in SL1. This is the file you can open in SL1
You can right click and use the Open With option on the back up file.
