Use Storyline to allow users to create their own character

Hello,

I want to build a scenario that allow users to build their own "character". The character will be built based on a selection. For example, a user can choose:

-Gender: male or female

-Age group: 18-24, 25-30, 31-39, etc.

-Work Status: Teacher, Construction, Retired, Volunteer

-Life Insurance: Yes or No

, etc.

As you can see, I want to give users the ability to build a chararcter based on a selection. The last slide will display all of the options selected.

Is something like this possible?

It is definitely possible using triggers and variables. See the attached file for an example.

Yes that can be done. See a rough mockup here. I used a button set for each of the questions and custom variables to capture the user's selection. You can use the content of the custom variables in many ways; you could even show a specific character picture, based on the selections. Hope that gets you started.
