Is there a way (or workaround) for a user-learner to input a URL and "populate" a web object?
I want to create a drag-and-drop interaction where the user could paste a Google Maps URL that brings up a Google map and user could then drag icons onto/over the web object for submittal and printing results (to sales engineer) for review.
That sounds like a really cool idea for an interaction! I'm not aware of a way to accomplish this myself, but hopefully some of our community members may be able to chime in with some ideas. You may also want to reach out on our Building Better Courses forum as it's a great resource for creative design-oriented questions and advice. :)
You could potentially use an embedded web object from your own server, passing the url variable to it and having it load the page. Just thinking out loud...
