I have created a login page in a course using one of your tutorials, where the learner can choose from a drop down list or type a name. How can I create a default value if the user doesn't choose or type a name? It is working, but not if the learner just clicks login!
You can insert a trigger on your 'Next/Login' button to adjust the text variable assigned to that textbox to a static value, when user clicks, on condition that value of said variable is {blank}.
I did get it figured out - the problem was that I wasn't able to choose a value of "blank" on textEntry in a drop down list to say if it is = to "blank" make the value this:
One of my colleagues apparently asked the question a couple of days ago and was given a different response!
