I need to create a course for which the design elements (including the player) have already been defined. As a result, I cannot use the Storyline player.
With the help of few tutorials, I've been able to remove the Storyline player in the output. My next objective is to be able to use the course player in Storyline.

Currently, I'm referring to one of your Storyline samples to fake the player. What looks possible is Next, Back, Play, Pause, Replay buttons on the master slide and set triggers for these buttons.
Is there some way out for an external progress bar/slider? Also, I want to keep the Transcript on the fake player, how do I make it functional (Will a lightbox serve the purpose)?

HI Veena there is no SDK for Storyline at the moment, the only way is to fake a player by building it on the slide

If it is the sample I am thinking about, I did not create that the buttons are all o the slide not created in flash.
You could use a lightbox for the transcript, a progress bar is more difficult tough
