Hello there, is there a way to share a course using dropbox now since the public folder option no longer exists? or what our other options of sharing my course using the html file? Thank you.
Hi Denise! You can manually create a public folder to share your courses. ( Dropbox has changed how this works and I don't think you need a public folder anymore and can share from any folder.) Another good, easy way to share your courses is by using Google Drive which you can see how to do here. Google gives you more free storage space (15GB vs 2GB by default for Dropbox)
In addition to Mike's excellent suggestion, I just wanted to share some additional options.
If you do not have access to a web server or LMS for testing, you could try using SCORM Cloud.
Another option would be to use our Tempshare server. Just keep in mind that this server is only available for testing content - it is not officially supported by Articulate and all content will be removed automatically after 10 days.
In addition, you could also use Dropbox. Just remember that you'll need to place your content in the "Public" folder. Also, you'll need to make sure that the folder is enabled. To do so, click on this link.
You're always welcome to try out Articulate Online, as well - it's available for a free 30 day trial.
I do believe Dropbox updated their set up, so that a public folder wasn't included by default when using the free version. I hope you're able to find a hosting solution that works for you and please let us know if you have any other questions.
You may want to look into the other options detailed here. The only hosting solution we offer would be Articulate Online - but I know lots of users mention utilizing sites such as Google Drive, Amazon S3, Word Press, etc.

Hi Louise,
Have you looked into utilizing Articulate Online or another LMS? You can test Articulate Online out for a free 30-day trial here.

The LMS, Canvas, offers a free account. Just go to https://canvas.instructure.com/login/canvas and click on 'Click Here, it's free
Thanks Elizabeth for sharing here - it's always good to know about other free options, as it's a common question here!
