I have been using Articulate Storyline 2 since November last year.
One of the most frequent tings that I do is screen recordings. Until now I have never had a problem with the programme but when I last tried to trim a screen recording I received an error message and a pop up saying that the video could not be encoded.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am stuck until this problem is solved.
Hi Amy - I've seen users mention a similar issue in the past and it was related to administrator rights. Check out this response and see if it assists you as well.

I encoded the videos into AVI format and it got sorted. You can use free online video encoding.
